Opportunities that Just Can’t be Imagined

As I spent my 20’s and 30’s being blessed as a mother of my 2 children; a son and daughter, I had a stable job and a stable home that included a driveway and a mailbox. Pretty typical, Yes! And I have no complaints.

By the time I was in my 40’s and becoming a grandmother, I was giving myself away through volunteering, continuing my education and living free as an empty nester. This was also a great phase of my life and I was blessed in many ways and this phase also included a steady job, a driveway and a mailbox.

We just never know how each phase of life will provide opportunities for us to grow and experience the blessings that God wants to give us.

I try to share in my post that my husband and I don’t live the average lifestyle of empty nesters in their 50’s as we continually travel for his job in our RV. Even though there are pros and cons to this, I also know this lifestyle isn’t for everyone. But I certainly have no complaints!

I enjoy saying “We are blessed with a different view from our living room window every few days, weeks or months”. And when asked where I work, I reply “I am a lady of traveling leisure” (This gets a lot of strange looks.) At the same time, I am surprised at how many fulltime travelers exist and also gave up a driveway and mailbox for the road, as we had the opportunity to.

I try to update my Travel Page on a regular basis for regular readers with details of our current locations and try to include pictures. I blog with a specific purpose so I do not create individual posts detailing our adventures and experiences but have recently had an opportunity to briefly share a bit more detail about our life without a driveway or a mailbox at: http://www.everything-about-rving.com/rving-fulltime.html and I would like to share.

I hope you enjoy!
